Chalkboard-palooza

I told Neal that I really wanted to have a wall full of chalkboards. He surprised me when these two gems appeared at the house...

Neal, after we returned from the freezing flea market.

As I was taking the pictures of the boards Neal slid on the floor into the picture, he is such a goober sometimes. The first chalkboard has a really nice wooden frame and ledge to hold the chalk. It was not sandblasted or treated in any way so when you erase the chalk, there is some chalk residue that remains. Second chalkboard is a piece of slate that weighs A LOT. It doesn't have a frame but it was sandblasted so it is super smooth and when you erase, EVERYTHING comes off. It is easily my favorite board out of all that I have (3). Thank you for the great gifts Neal!!!!!
